Airport Road Addition: A Growing Community in Brooks County

Airport Road Addition is three miles east of Falfurrias in northeastern Brooks County. This residential community is located between State Highway 285 and Farm Road 2191. Named for its proximity to the local airport, the development had begun by the 1990s. The first population figures were available from the 2000 census, when the community reported 132 residents.
