Cantu Addition: A Growing Residential Community in Brooks County

Cantu Addition is a residential community located just west of U. S. Highway 281 about two miles southwest of Falfurrias in northern Brooks County. The development, named after a major landowner in that area, began by the 1990s. The first population figures were available from the 2000 census, when the community reported 217 residents.
