Chicony: The Defiant Chief of the Comanche Indians (unknown–unknown)

Chicony (She-co-ney) was the principal chief of the Comanche Indians in 1836, when Alexander Le Grand was sent by the Texas government to make a treaty with the Comanches. Chicony refused to make the treaty and swore eternal enmity to the White man.
