Circle D-KC Estates: A Growing Community in Bastrop County

Circle D-KC Estates is located off State Highway 21 about six miles northeast of Bastrop in northeast central Bastrop County. This community actually consists of two residential developments and began in the 1980s as part of the increasing construction of subdivisions in the region of Lake Bastrop. In 1990 Circle D-KC Estates had a population of 1,247. That figure increased to 2,010 in 2000. The community has two convenience stores, a bar, and a volunteer fire department.
