Discover Hide-A-Way on the Gulf: A Charming Resort Community

Hide-A-Way on the Gulf is a small resort community located off Farm Road 523 and County Road 792 about five miles east-northeast of Freeport in southern Brazoria County. This development on Oyster Creek began about the late 1960s with the construction of ten boat slips and 138 lots. In 2000 the population was 69.
