Discover Holiday Beach: A Charming Community in Aransas County

Holiday Beach is a residential community located off State Highway 35 about eleven miles northeast of Rockport in Aransas County. This development on Copano Bay began in the mid-1960s when Dallas investors organized the Copano Land Company. The first lots were sold about January 1964. Over the next several decades the subdivision slowly developed and included waterfront homes and boat canals. By 1990 Holiday Beach had 1,000 residents, and the unincorporated community maintained that number in 2000.
