Discover Ruth Springs: A Hidden Gem in Henderson County

Ruth Springs is a tiny residential community located about 1½ miles off State Highway 274 on the western shore of Cedar Creek Reservoir and fourteen miles west of Athens in western Henderson County. The lakeshore development probably began by the early 1980s. In 2000 Ruth Springs had a population of fifteen.
