Discover Spider Mountain: A Hidden Gem in Burnet County

Spider Mountain is located off Farm Road 2341 about nine miles northwest of Burnet in northwestern Burnet County. This development near Lake Buchanan and the South Fork of Morgan Creek may have begun in the 1970s. The small community, named after a Burnet County summit, reported a population of forty-two in 2000.
