Discover Sunset Oaks: A Charming Community in Burnet County

Sunset Oaks is a small residential community located off State Highway 29 and the Longhorn Railway about eleven miles east of Burnet and just east of Bertram in eastern Burnet County. Development of this subdivision had begun by the 1970s, but population figures were not available until 2000 when the census reported 148 residents.
