Discover Toledo Village: A Charming Lakeside Community

Toledo Village is a lakeside community located on Recreational Road 255 about twenty-four miles northeast of Newton in northeastern Newton County. Development in the area known as South Toledo Bend began in the early 1960s with the construction and completion of Toledo Bend Reservoir. Toledo Village is mostly residential but also consists of a church, community center, and volunteer fire department. Area stores and tackle shops serve locals and tourists. In 2005 Toledo Village had an estimated population of about 1,500.
