TSHA Fellowship

The by-laws of the Association provides that "members who show, through distinguished published works, or other exemplary scholarly activity, a special aptitude for historical investigation may become Fellows.... In any given year the number of Fellows elected, if any, shall be within the sole discretion of the Board of Directors; however, at no time shall there be more than three persons elected as Fellows of the Association each year." The Fellows Committee is charged with the task of seeking qualified candidates but also invites nominations from Association members. The committee is not obligated to appoint any new Fellows if the nominees do not meet the requirements. Recipients must be present at the TSHA Annual Meeting to receive the award.

New Fellows will be announced and presented a certificate at the Association's annual meeting. Nominations for Fellows should be sent to the TSHA office by November 15, 2025.
